Qigong For Heart & Lung Health (18 Tai Chi Qigong)

Qigong With Kseny

Continue your journey with the Fire element and heart system in this dynamic Qigong session. This routine focuses on stimulating acupressure points along the heart and lung meridians, providing energetic support to these vital systems. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Five Element Theory, each element influences the others. Sometimes this influence is nurturing, akin to a mother-child relationship, and other times it can be controlling or overpowering. During the summer, the Fire element (Heart) can dominate the Metal element (Lungs), a phenomenon known in TCM as "Fire melts the Metal." The intense heat of summer and the internal heat generated by the Heart can deplete Lung Qi, leading to symptoms such as a dry throat, dry cough, and dry skin. In today’s video, we will use the 18 forms of Tai Chi Qigong (Shibashi Set 1), to nourish the lung Qi and harmonize the energy, promote cardiovascular health, and enhance overall well-being.
