Qigong is a mind/body practice that gives us the tools to find harmony between the mind and the body. Often when we stay in our heads, we feel disconnected from our body. That disconnection removes us from the present moment leaving us feeling trapped either in the past or the future.
Tomorrow during our live class on Zoom we will practice some of my favorite breathing techniques that can be used to help you reconnect with your body.
The breath practice is the basis of most health enhancement methods. There are numerous benefits that are triggered when we turn our attention to our breath from lymph pump and deep organ massage to stress reduction. My teacher always says ‘’our breath is the link between the body and mind’’. That’s the tool that is free and always available to us.
